5/1 Abilene Speedway - Still riding the high of the win from the week before we started 2nd row inside
and made our way to the lead on lap #2. Track was fast and car was really good. Knowing Wojtek and
Dawson breathing down my neck there was no time to relax. Everything held together and took the
checkered flag with a 3-4 car length lead.
Tyler got caught up in a last lap crash in heat had to start 19th in feature. Car was good and missed the
big wreck on 1st lap. Finished 8th, it was a good run and loaded the car with no damage.
5/7 Lubbock - Took my sport mod this week, 2nd row seems to be a sweet spot for me. Started 2nd
row inside and got to the front on lap 2. Survived a couple of cautions and came home with the win.
Modified: moved up to the front row after the pole sitter scratched. Started inside the infamous sprint
car driver Monte Bolton. Got the lead coming out of turn two and held the lead until lap 12 when a RR
tire losing pressure caused the handling to go away and I spun in turn 1 & 2 causing a single car
caution and got sent to the pits.
5/8 Abilene - 2nd row outside starting spot, got caught up in a mess on start and sent to the back.
Managed to come back to 4th place. Not too bad.
Tyler started 9th and had a good run going. Got up to 5th at one time. After a few bad breaks finished
8th. We are improving on the dry set up. All in all a good night, loaded the car again with little damage.
